Telemedicine

  • Patients must connect using a device (desktop, laptop, iPad, tablet, mobile phone) that has both audio and video turned on and working properly. If any connectivity issues with WiFi, audio, or video occur, the patient may be required to reschedule to another date or time.
  • Patients will be provided with a link via email that directly connects to the video session with the provider. Patients can also connect through their online patient portal account. Other methods, such as 'FaceTime' are not allowed as they are not HIPAA compliant or secure. You will be asked to download an app called Zoom prior. Please attempt to join 10-15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time to allow enough time to download any necessary apps to your device and test camera/microphone settings.
  • Phone calls do not qualify as a Telemedicine Appointment and patients will be asked to reschedule if they cannot connect with both camera and audio using the assigned link.
  • Appointments must be in a private, quiet area. Driving during the appointment is not allowed for safety reasons and patient will be asked to reschedule.
  • All Telemedicine patients are required to have a card saved on file and a signed copy of Paradigm Psychiatry's Financial Policy Agreement. Payment is collected on the date of service prior to the start of the session.
